Woodland Cake Smash Horsham, by Samphire Photography

I do love a good woodland Cake Smash and, easily understandable, this is slowly becoming one of my more popular sessions, so much so that I add in and change this set-up around the most so that they are all a little different and personal to you.  Thankfully, I was able to use the last of the eucalyptus from my assistant’s garden (before is was given a severe pruning…much to my annoyance 😉 ) in this session to add a real feel of the outdoors.

Little Arlo was a total charmer and I am a sucker for those little baby teeth which you can just see poking through in his images. Mum & Dad had dressed handsome Arlo in the perfect outfit to not only bring out his beautiful blue eyes, but also to tone in with the cuddly foxes.  And dressed in his super cute foxy ears, this little cub had a whale of a time totally destroying his cake – another fabulous creation from my local baker Mrs B Bakes. Confident on his legs too – such fun! – which gave an extra dimension to the images Mum and Dad had to select from.

Super splashy Arlo also made great use of the water in the bath – most of which ended up on my floor – and the bubbles which I always use in sessions and captured so well in my studio flash. love love love.

Here are a few of my favourite images from the session xxxx
