Gorgeous girl Phoenix was poorly just before her first birthday so we booked her classic Cake Smash session for when she was back to full health and picture perfect. Mum had got in touch, emailing, “I have looked through your Pinterest and all the background designs are amazing… I have a pink tutu I would like her to wear and possibly some beads, so something quite simple would be great. I really like this …. pinks, greens and whites with some flowery bunting would be great.”
That’s so fantastic, it gives me a really clear idea as to what my client would like. I used the image she attached from my Cake Smash Pinterest page as a starting point for my planning of the session, but tweaked it a little to make it bespoke to Phoenix, just as I do with every client. Floral bunting and jars of flowers created a pretty, classic Cake Smash for a pretty little lady. Add in a quick outfit change – can a girl have too many tutus? – and a fabulous giant cupcake by my brilliant local baker Mrs B Bakes and we are Cake Smash-ready.
We had such a fun Smash & Splash session in the Samphire studio, and little Phoenix was such a cutie. Mum was super pleased with her gallery, “Ohhh the photos are just gorgeous.. thank you so much!! ” Now that is exactly the kind of feedback I love to hear!
