All my cake smash sessions are bespoke so when Ethan’s parents asked for a rainbow cake smash I eagerly started planning. I wasn’t sure whether to go with a plethora of rainbow-coloured fans or a rainbow balloon garland. Well, you can see which I selected and I just loved making it. You can see from the pull back just how effective it was…
Little Ethan was a real star and loved his session. He was Mum and Dad’s very own rainbow baby, hence the theme, and he totally rocked it. The amazing cake by Mrs B Bakes fitted in perfectly, as always. It also meant I got to use some of my more colorful props and toys in the session. Ethan loved playing with his own push along toy, although I am not sure how long it took Mum and Dad to get it clean at the end!!!! Thankfully, I supply outfits for the cake smash itself. These can be used pre-smash as well, as I always selection outfits that tone in with the session.
Mum and Dad love Ethan’s portraits and said, “The photos are gorgeous, thank you so much,” which was great as I always love to read customer feedback.

Rainbow Cake Smash
Did you know all my cake smash session are bespoke? And I do love planning them. So don’t worry if you are having trouble deciding on what colours and/ or theme to go with. I give all clients the link to my ever-growing Pinterest Cake Smash board so they can look through some of the previous sessions I have done for a little inspiration. So whether you decide on a brand new theme or one I have done before, either way is absolutely fine.
After the session
I always guarantee 20 images for all my clients, which get edited and put into an online viewing gallery but there are always soooo many more great images from a cake smash session. Most parents end up viewing 40-50 images! The best thing about this is that if you purchase the whole gallery you get all the images, whether there are 20 or 60, at the same cost!
