First Birthday Cake Smash | Amelia is One

First Birthday Cake Smash

Little Amelia was coming in back in to the Samphire studio for her first birthday Cake Smash. I was super excited as it had been a year since I had photographed her when she was a newborn. Her mum had selected a pretty palette of creams, pinks and white, complete with a giant cupcake. So I got planning to create a lovely delicate girly feel for her cake smash. She loved it! And so did I.  The session looked amazing – am loving the touch of gold – and I made sure it coordinated with the gorgeous dress we used from my collection for the shoot as well. As with all my cake smash sessions, we even got her older sister, Jessica, involved. Nobody likes sitting on the sidelines whilst their sister gets all the fun, right?!

Here are a few of my favourite images from the session. Cute, huh? xx

After the session

I always guarantee 20 images for all my clients. These get edited and put into an online viewing gallery but there are always soooo many more great images from a cake smash session. Most parents end up viewing 40-50 images! The best thing about this is that if you purchase the whole gallery you get all the images, whether there are 20 or 60, at the same cost!
