Our maternity sessions typically last between 1 to 2 hours, giving us plenty of time to create a relaxed, comfortable experience while capturing a variety of beautiful images. This is your moment — and a little self-care before your shoot can make a big difference. Taking time to unwind, enjoy a warm bubble bath, or treat yourself to having your hair and nails done can help you feel refreshed and radiant before stepping in front of the camera. We want you to feel confident, calm, and celebrated throughout your session — because you deserve nothing less.
This photoshoot is all about celebrating you — your strength, your beauty, and the incredible journey you’re on. To help you look and feel your best, we provide a carefully curated selection of stunning dresses and flowing fabrics that photograph beautifully. You’re welcome to use any of these during your session. All you need to bring is your underwear — we’ll take care of the rest, making it simple and stress-free to feel fabulous on the day.

The ideal time to book your maternity session is between 28 and 36 weeks. At this stage, your baby bump is beautifully rounded and prominent, but you’re still comfortable enough to enjoy the experience fully. That said, every pregnancy is unique, and it’s never too late to create lasting memories. Whether you're earlier or later in your journey, we’re here to capture the magic of this moment — whenever the time is right for you.
At Samphire Photography, we offer the flexibility to create your maternity photoshoot in a setting that feels just right for you. You can choose the comfort of our calm, private studio near Billingshurst, or opt for a beautiful outdoor location — perhaps a peaceful woodland walk or the serene backdrop of the beach.
Wherever you decide, we’ll work with you to make sure the setting complements your vision and feels effortlessly natural.
Your maternity session is about more than just capturing your pregnancy — it’s about celebrating the love and anticipation that surrounds your growing family. That’s why partners and children are always welcome to join in.

Route suggestion:
Depart Billingshurst on the A272 heading east.
Turn onto A29 toward Horsham.
Continue through nearby villages like Cowfold and Coolham.
Join Littleworth Lane, which leads to RH13 8JF.

You do not need to choose your package until after you have seen your final gallery of images – and even then there is no obligation to buy.
