Are you looking for a newborn photographer near me? Well, that’s me! I have been running my photography business for 8 years now, and specialising in newborns for the last 6 of those. As a result, I have a ton of expertise when it comes to capturing great images of your new baby. Safety is always my top priority over any pose, and I work with the baby’s natural rhythm to get the most out of your newborn sessions.
This little chap was another baby who put in a late appearance, over 2 weeks after his due date. However, this wasn’t a problem as having prebooked their newborn session Henry’s Mummy & Daddy were guaranteed that I would have space to fit them in. I opted for a mix of blues, creams and greens for Henry’s session and doesn’t he look just great? Such a little cutie who totally rocked his session. I love his cute little rolls when he is laying on his tummy. Not to mention how he adorable he looks in a few of the slouch hats, from my vast collection. My pom-pom ones are such a hit with all my clients and these were from a great prop supplier, Bespoke Newborn Props by Mary, who only supplies to professional photographers. And the super-soft curly layers are from my trusted source Cwtchi Coo, in Wales.

All of my clients who have a full newborn session are invited back to the Samphire studio for a complimentary sitter session. That way I get to see how ‘my’ babies have grown. Plus also this is probably one of my most favourite ages to photograph babies. At this stage babies may be sitting up or lifting themselves up onto all fours, bringing opportunities to pose them sitting in our vintage baskets or tin bath tub. These sessions are fun, and focus on capturing the personality of your little one!
