As a cake smash photographer I always tailor my session to clients’ individual requests. Jenson’s mum had asked for a dog-themed smash with paw prints. For the reason that little Jenson was obsessed with their own dog – a little black & white Boston terrier who he was inseparable from.
Perfect! This is where my having three children with numerous cuddly toys comes in handy; Dylan’s toy dogs to the rescue! Jenson was particularly fond of the black, white and beige dog toy. Made by Keel toys, one of my favourite toy makers, Jenson loved it so much that kisses and cuddles took place throughout the whole session! The poor little dog even ended up with a blue cakey nose! Thankfully, this went back to its normal shade after a good wash!
There were so many great images from Jenson’s session that I found it hard to select just a few favourites. Such a happy young boy and such a lovely session and great memories xx

After the session
I always guarantee 20 images for all my clients. These get edited and put into an online viewing gallery but there are always soooo many more great images from a cake smash session. Most parents end up viewing 40-50 images! The best thing about this is that if you purchase the whole gallery you get all the images, whether there are 20 or 60, at the same cost!
