When Joshua and his mum came back in to the Samphire studio for his 1st birthday photoshoot I was super excited. With returning clients it is always lovely to see how my little customers have grown. And Joshua has grown into a real charmer. With loads of smiles and laughter he enjoyed his session from start to finish. Already on the move, which can be more challenging, as once little ones have found their feet all they want to do is be off exploring! This can often mean a lot of scooping up the more mobile little ones and popping them down in front the cake again! Thankfully less so for scrumptious Joshua who really got stuck into his cake. He was happy to tuck in…with the odd toddle around of course!
Mum wanted a theme of blues and greys for a session that was cute but classic and I definitely delivered. Here are a few of my favourite images from his session. Love love love it xx

After the session
I always guarantee 20 images for all my clients, which get edited and put into an online viewing gallery but there are always soooo many more great images from a cake smash session. Most parents end up viewing 40-50 images! The best thing about this is that if you purchase the whole gallery you get all the images, whether there are 20 or 60, at the same cost!
