I have photographed this wonderful family several times and when I heard they were expecting again I was super excited….then I found out that this time round it was twins!!!!!! Mum was looking to come in to the Samphire studio again for bump to baby portraits, which include both a maternity and a newborn session. After a consultation we booked her in for a maternity mini session and a full newborn session as we felt that this would give her the range of images she wanted.
Maternity mini sessions are just half an hour long and often use that natural light I have available in the studio. I can incorporate sibling and family images during this time and you are welcome to select one of my gorgeous gowns to use. I always speak to you beforehand to discuss any specific requirements – as this is a short session it means we focus fully on your images for the half an hour you are here. Mum was very keen to include beautiful Darcie in the portraits and, as you can tell from the images, she was really looking forward to being a big sister.
Mum came in when she was towards the end of her pregnancy so I turned the images around super quickly for her to ensure that she had time to view them before the little ones put in an appearance.
Jazmin and Luisa soon arrived and big sister Darcie and Mum and Dad couldn’t have been happier. Mum let me know as soon as they were born and this wonderful family all came back into the studio for the twins’ newborn session when they were just 3 weeks old. Darcie was a star as always and Karen, my assistant, was on hand as she always is with twins, to ensure that Mum and Dad could sit back and relax for a few hours whilst I created some stunning portraits which they will cherish for years to come.
